This course will engage learners in an exciting British Sign Language (BSL) session that will be interactive and inclusive for all.
Members will develop a range of signs that can be used in social care settings linked to health and wellbeing. Learners will engage in role play activities as well as interactive games to encourage vocabulary retention.
Teacher-led demonstrations will also enable members to develop their BSL receptive skills recognising vocabulary that has been taught in the session. The aim of the course is for members to develop a broader vocabulary range to promote interaction and communication with the Deaf community.
